It's Wednesday Again !

Good morning and Happy One Flower Wednesday , on this bright sunny ,windy morning I have three flowers blooming in my garden , I had hoped for more but at least I am staying consistent I guess .I now need to get busy and cut more hexies as this put a huge dent in the ones I had prepared .Happy Gardening everyone .Oh is there anyone out there that can give me advice on my poor rose bush , if you look closely at the leaves they don't look all that healthy ,something is really doing a number on them . Thanks for stopping by .

  1. Very nice flowers. I can't help you with the rose bush. The roses look gorgeous though.

  2. Our father used to make up a solution of carbolic soap (do you have that, bright pink in a block ?) and water to spray on his roses to keep pests away.

  5. Lovely flowers again! I think if you make enough of them, they will cover the rosebush and you won't be able to see that it's not as healthy as you wish! You can probably buy an 'all purpose' spray for your rose which will cover all the different possibilities - that's what I use on mine!!

  6. Hexies are lovely Sheila. Love the fabric on the pink one. The rose is gorgeous. Not sure what you can do with the rose bush though. If it's pests maybe a garlic type spray will help. Hugs, Jeanette

  8. Beautiful flowers!

I love the colour of your rose blooms.

It looks like you might have a sucking insect attacking the leaves. Spraying with soapy water might help.

  14. Fabulous hexagons and the roses are looking lovely in spite of their affliction...I'm no big rose expert but I think they may have rust, it's a fungal infection.
